The Contact (Standard) component displays contact information for a department, program, or campus in an eye-catching, modular format.
It consists of 3 sections: a Visit card that includes an address and link to get directions to visit that address, a Connect card that contains social media links, and a pair of custom cards that can display any other contact information such as phone numbers and email addresses. You may include any or all of these 3 sections.
At the bottom of any page on the main SHSU.edu domain that includes a sidebar menu, such as academic and administrative department pages.
Use the Contact (Standard) component to display contact information for a specific department or other unit of SHSU such as its address, phone number, email address and/or social media links.
Only use the Visit card if you wish to provide directions to a physical address, and only use the Connect card to link to social media accounts for a specific department or organization (not the main SHSU accounts). The 2 custom cards can be used flexibly to display any other contact details and can be divided up however makes the most sense for that department.
To display contact information on a page that doesn’t have a sidebar menu, such as all pages on the Sam Houston Memorial Museum & Presidential Library site and the SHSU Physicians site, use the Contact (With Image) component instead.
