Alert

An Alert is a thin banner that appears across the top of a webpage to provide site visitors with important information and link them to a page with more details if necessary.

Alerts can have either a denim or a lime background. The lime variant should be used for high-priority alerts only.

Where You Can Use It

The Alert banner is a global element. When active, it will appear across the entirety of a single site (SHSU.edu, Sam Houston Memorial Museum & Presidential Library or SHSU Physicians).

Burglary 5/2/25

This notice is sent in compliance with The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Statistics Act.

Burglary- SHSU Police were dispatched to 530 Bowers Boulevard in reference to a Burglary of a Building that occurred between the hours of 6PM and 8:45PM. An unknown suspect entered an unsecured building and removed property from a locker room.

If you have information that may be helpful in identifying a person of interest, please call the SHSU Police Department at 936-294-1800.
