An Alert is a thin banner that appears across the top of a webpage to provide site visitors with important information and link them to a page with more details if necessary.
Alerts can have either a denim or a lime background. The lime variant should be used for high-priority alerts only.
The Alert banner is a global element. When active, it will appear across the entirety of a single site (SHSU.edu, Sam Houston Memorial Museum & Presidential Library or SHSU Physicians).
